    This was very informative! We actually went to St. Lucia 13 years ago for our honeymoon and this would have been especially helpful back then because we knew almost nothing! We loved trying the Piton beer while snorkelling between the Pitons… that was pretty cool.

    we invested in dry bags – backpack style. Now we haven't tried them in water other than rain yet…but its the same bags they use when we go whitewater rafting so it might be a solution to leaving things on the beach when you can just take your valuables with you in the water.

    I love that you guys get to stay and really get to know the essence of a country. Being there for the short time we were there left a lot to be desired. Now let me keep watching to see if you guys went to the ONLY place we went…the hot spring/mud bath place – lol

    Many countries don’t have exact addresses and require locals to have a p.o.box.I’ve lived in the Caribbean, Central America, Africa and all required the aforementioned.
