Had to come back here to comment! Just went back to my local thrift shop after binge watching your videos! A store I've gone to several times recently and haven't found anything good.. this time I spent less than 50 dollars and got THE BEST home decor items!!! World market placemats, napkins, napkin rings, faux florals, marble and wood decor pieces, gorgeous floral vases, anthropologie inspired art for my daughter's room.. even a great ceramic dish for a moss center piece!!😂 It made a world of difference going with specific items and materials in mind. Wanted to say thank you!!! Love your videos, can't wait for more!

Lots of love, and TFS! ♡ -
Fia, I really enjoy watching how you find such great items and duping those outrageously overpriced high end stores!! I don’t know how people can even afford shopping there!!

For a larger spear, I use my daughters old office ball, which has a handle on it and I haven’t this round part with painter tape. I then use the ball with concrete and built it up and let it dry. Oh I forgot to tell you to put Vaseline on it before putting the concrete, letting it Dry pulling it off setting the side did the other side as per above and letting that dry then taking off the painter tape attaching both sides together with the concrete then after standing and smoothing it out with water and my glove and letting it dry sanding and then pain with all in one texture I painted it with that in it to still keep the concrete look more so and painted a different color. This was easy. It was time consuming but other than that all went well. It’s been in my yard for five years and the handles were one. I filled one with concrete, which also needs to be sanded. The other one I left open, but because of the weight of the thing, I really didn’t have to stake it as no one could really pick it up for that long anyway, but I did put it in a slope in the mulch garden in front. I hope this helps you. It is quite large as it yes I was an office chair bouncing ball. I guess that they would sit on at a computer lol good luck. I hope this helps you. It certainly was a great Idea for my large property thank you for your podcast and your friend Gerri good luck

Fia, you are my absolute favorite girl! I’m telling you… NO DIY Home Decor YouTube channel compares to you. You just have that natural class, elegance, and style; an eye for minimalism at its finest and definitely know how to do it best. I love the editing, music, everything about your videos is perfect. I always get so happy on Mondays because I know you’ve uploaded one the day before 😭♥️ You’re truly, so talented and gifted. This channel is so special. I hope you know that. When I watch your video I always want to rush off to my thrift store or bins to see if I can find any similar items.
In fact, last week I rushed too fast and ended up with a speeding ticket 😳.
Found some good stuff. Ended up a very expensive trip. -
Awesome ideas!

I am in awe of these new projects, Fia. I look forward to your videos every Sunday – makes starting the work week a bit easier! I love the color you made for the director's chair and can't make out what you used. Did you say "kismet green" or "kismet gray?" Then you mixed the paint with antiquing wax (in what color?) by Rustoleum or another make? Thanks so much for clarifying! See you next Sunday!

Old rotten particleboard isn't going to last very long if anyone actually sits on it.

An easy way to give brass an aged patina is to dissolve a little chunk of liver of sulfur into some water and dip your piece into it. You can also brush it on. It's easy to do, safe, and the results look way better than trying to paint on brass.

Great Job
