    MAILBAG QUESTION: How do you see the top six taking shape for 2024-2025? More specifically, do they keep CC-Suzy-Slaf together, or spread the wealth and reunite Newhook-Dach-Slaf, which was excellent throughout preseason last year? In this case, is there anyone else they can justify playing with Cole and Nick?

    NO TRADE, Patrik Laine COUD NOT HAND THE STRESS THAT COMES WITH PLAYING IN M0NTREAL. TOO MANY TEMPTATION'S OUTSIDE THE AREA. THANKS KEVIN

    I question Laine's fit within MSL's system but mostly his fit in the city and its pressure cooker. I don't think it suits him.

    Off the top of my head, BOS is a prime example of retooling. DAL is another example though they haven't won it all. DET successfully replaced its star forwards between 02 and 08 by finding gems like Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Holmstrom.

    Please …NO Laine to Montreal .!!! Not a fit .!! Too much baggage ..injuries..attitude …Even if they retain half his salary..NO WAY ..!! MUCH rather go after a big prospect …like 6'2" Arthur KALIYEV …210 Lbs. and only 23 yrs. old …That more what HABS need …!!
