I found the GREATEST SUMMER DRINK EVER. Mix equal parts of starlight blackberry whiskey and pinaq blue vodka and add a splash (or top off) with lemonade. I call it a Starpin lemonade. I hope you see this and enjoy it!!!❤❤❤

This made my ex skipper heart so happy. Thank you for this love letter to a bar where I spent so many years ❤️❤️❤️

How did I have no idea that you had not only a kid, but a SEVEN YEAR OLD kid??? Granted I can't imagine it normally comes up on a show about drinking cocktails, but still! 😂

I'm far too brainrotted to sit quietly while Greg says "pog juice" 10 times in a minute

Last year went to the House Without a Key at the Halekulani Hotel so looking forward to having this amazing cocktail at the source. The server (who claimed been there on & off for years), bartender, and manager had never heard of the cocktail. Days later at the amazing Bar Leather Apron in downtown Honolulu, when I asked the owner if he knew of the cocktail, he said, 'yeah, Bourbon'. But wasn't surprised of the now-corporate hotel's ignorance.

In Sanford, Florida (30 miles north of Orlando) we have a speakeasy tiki bar called The Suffering Bastard. One of their house specialties is called the Astronaut. It's strong (they limit 2 per guest) and one of the few drinks on the menu they don't disclose what's in it. It's my absolute favorite tiki drink. I don't know enough tiki lore to know if it's their take on an established tiki drink or not. Next time you're in the Disney/Orlando area, I'd love it if you made a trip to The Suffering Bastard to do a review and hopefully try and reverse engineer the Astronaut.

Each Trader Sam's location are the absolute best

I am still trying to expell from my mind the mental image of senior citizen Fran Fine … I mean your Grandma … howling up a storm in Disney World and hauling your good self outta there after three rides.

I may never fully recover …

This was a really fun format, thanks for getting shitfaced at Disney!

In the flavored rum tastings episode, didn't he do the dragon berry as a mojito and hate it?

The Strong dark and stormy was surprising, with the exception of the Edison the alcohol gets lost in most Disney drinks. It’s a shame, for the prices you pay , you want a balance well made drink. I’m glad Greg had a good experience, but that has not standard, which is why I stick with Manhattans, Martinis, Negronis or pours on the rocks.

Trader Sam’s is my happy place and inspired our home tiki bar! 🍹❤️

    Great episode!

My daughter and I loved watching this. She agrees with the nonalcoholic drink assessments. Does anyone have the recipe for the “Schweitzer Slush” from Skipper’s Canteen at Magic Kingdom? Every recipe we found online is for the Schweitzer Falls from Trader Sam’s.

Gregory. Listen to me. I know you’re an east coast boy. But as someone who has been to both Trader Sam’s you must try the west coast version. There’s a few drinks that are different between the two and I think in general the west coast one is the winner for me. But admittedly they’re both perfect.

Re: crew bottle holders. I don't own them (yet) but I just saw Make and Drink use a Koriko shaker tin to hold his in place w/o issue.

Thank you for talking about the non-alcoholic drinks! Due to my current meds, I can only have one alcoholic drink a day & so I have gained a genuine appreciation for good non-alcoholic drinks! 🥳

what a brilliant way to claim a IRS deduction to write off getting soused at Trader Sams!! I'm doing it for my business! … Another great video and one of my favorite bars in the world for sure

If you wrote a book I would buy it, and one for everyone I know

Please explain the weird pronounciation of orgeat. In what part of French is the AT?

We LOVE Trader Sams!! BTW, any idea where you got that Fla. liquor limit fact?? I've never heard this and can't seem to find any mention of it online… ?

That first clip makes me think we have vastly different ideas of a good bar..

Trader Sam’s is top tier stuff. Everything I’ve had there is stellar

I love your respect and enjoyment of tropical drinks. The fruity florals are so nice together.

Why is the recipe different from what he put in the crew bottle?

Super fun episode (biased since I love tiki) but I love the combo of in the field reporting backed by nerdy lab analysis. Great job

Grog Grotto is pretty great, but I prefer eating the bar food at Jock Lindsay's Hanger Bar at Disney Springs. All of their appetizers have historically been very good. It's Indiana Jones themed, and has a nice outdoor covered patio over the lake, so it's a nice environment to hang out with friends. Grog Grotto can get pretty loud inside since it's a small room.

Greg, I've mentioned it before, but if you ever find yourself in SoCal for a Disneyland trip, you must go to a tiki bar in Anaheim not far from the park called Strongwater. Their drinks are pretty damn tasty.

I love trader Sam’s. I was in Orlando for a business trip this week and went twice and even going alone is a great time

We are going to need that Uh-oa and nautilus recipe for sure man! I’ve been waiting for you to show me these for years! I don’t trust some of the other schmoes on YouTube to such and important task.

    But what about Gorilla Grodd?

    POG JUICE POG JUICE

Would you ever so Trader Sam's west coast? As they have a different menu than East.

    go browns

Godddddd the Uh-Oa animatronic really was one of the only good things to come from Enchanted Tiki Room: Under New Management. It's so cool to see they're still using her for something instead of letting her gather dust in the archives
