The Grid Gab

Your potential future for K Mag is a weird one seeing as the dude ran a full season along side his father in IMSA in 2021 and was set to repeat that in 2022 until Russia happened. He even ran for McLaren once in Indy in a surprise reunion, replacing an injured driver. It is all but certain that Kevin will follow his fathers Career path and join the world of endurance racing. Additionally, Im not sure how much NASCAR you follow but Ricardo would only possibly have a hope of being a road course ringer and would get absolutely destroyed in pack racing. The caliber of F1 driver you need to be is Montoya level in order to win in NASCAR and as much as I may live Danny it would surprise the hell out of me if he turns out to be that good. Button, Raikkonen, and Villeneuve all tried that jump and failed to leave a lasting impression on the sport. While I know Montoya never achieved F1 success like those other three one major factor for him is he knew how to handle oval racing form his time in Indy and Champ. Danny in NASCAR would likely just come down to a Danica Patrick level signing just for the sponsors in my eyes.

Danny Ric would be amazing in a co-commentator when Brundle isn’t around, in a James Hunt sort of way. I haven’t seen that mentioned anywhere but it’s true. FOM would love that and pay him big.

I could potentially see bottas in australia driving a supercar once his f1 time is over

I don't see Bottas as being disrespectful or anything negative by the way he is. Not sure what you're getting at, cause he's 100% one of the least disliked drivers in F1.
I agree that he isn't as invested anymore and is probably looking outside of the sport for happiness and self-realisation but I don't see him being more comfortable to show his personality as him being "a teenager" or whatnot. Not everyone likes serious drivers (or "old fashioned" as the YouTubers love to say) like Max and I'm one of them.

It’s only the “fans”, media pundits and YouTubers who are this obsessed over Checo’s future. Checo knows where he stands, real fans know where he stands and most importantly, Red Bull knows. Others can keep discussing this to death. Doesn’t change anything in the world.

I wouldn't be surprised if kevin decides to focus more on his family. Maybe we could see Laura and Agnes racing one day.

6:40 Sergio Perez has a contract until the end of 2026, not just for 2025.

And "Mexican sponsorship money a substitute for talent and performance"??? That's a bit harsh. The guy has won in a bleedin' "Stroll F1" (which is more than can be said for a certain two-time world champion) from being last after lap 1 no less, he's won 5 races for Red Bull (which makes him #5 in Red Bull's all time ranking), he made Verstappen world champion in '21 (yes, he did!), he finished in P2 last season, he is the most successful F1 driver to ever come out of Mexico (by a country mile!) … to highlight but a few of his accolades.

It isn't really Checo's fault that the RB20 has turned out to be an absolute "b*tch" to drive (Helmut Marko's words, not mine), now, is it? And no, I'm not exactly a fan of his but respect were respect is due.

Next they all go home and play with their millions and millions of dollars.

I hope Valtteri stays at Sauber
Checo in the bin though, for sure

I agree with all of your points except for ones related to Bottas. I think he still has a lot to offer and he's definitely up for the hard work and challenges of the current F1 calendar. I think that his attitude is more related to that fact that he has realised that there is more to life than being in F1. If things don't go his way then he won't walk around sulking or blaming everyone else. Given a better car I think he's still capable of scoring good points on a regular basis. Also, he's a very accomplished and successful gravel cyclist. He's getting wins and podiums alongside seasoned pro's, which is very impressive considering that he's not a 'whipper snapper' anymore. Keep up the good content.👍

the Danny Ric beat up thing is getting old. He is likely to go to RB as Max's partner for a year or two then he'll be over and out for him. If that doesn't happen then I think he will simply walk away happy with his time and F1 career. At the end of that day Danny is out performing his co driver and Yuki is in his what 5th year, so he's not inexperienced or a rookie get over it. Yuki will be looking for a seat in 2026 he has no future at RB that's clear. Sargent is just not up to the task, Zou is also in the same boat. The real shame maybe Bottas not having a seat, althought I don't think he cares one way or the other. But on the positive side we may have up to five rookies or near rookies on the grid next year which is something I cant remember seeing eve in the past. So with there being only 20 seats available that means someone has to miss out.

Well if Red Bull won't give any seat to Lawson soon , he will be able to leave the team by September without any penalty and if that will end up happening, then Sauber might sign him for the second seat. They said that they are interested in having Lawson so that's a possibility

I agree with most of your points apart from Bottas, he is clearly the best driver of the 2 at Sauber, he would have scored points if the team didn't bottle up, i sincerely hope they keep him.

Perez has a contract until (potentially) 2026. He shouldn't, but he does.

Zhou going to Formula E would make more sense because there are tracks from China 🇨🇳.

    Whiny and boring as hell.

Ric is gonna be promoted, he’s the one without a contract, he can go in after Mexico and do good and get a contract, or do terrible and say goodbye.

    Who will end up where?
