I did the zip line and loved it. My wife did the small one, but not the big one. She saw it on the platform, and said no. She took the bus back down.

Over booking is clearly a result of greed and questionable management. When was the last time you arrived at a hotel, with a reservation, and were told sorry we over booked? Cruise lines need to back off their 100% two person occupancy goal. Spare cabins would then also be available when a cabin floods or the toilet craps out.

I don't think I would take the deal. Because they are giving my money back fine.. And FCC for next 2 years..ok? . But now I have 7 days of vacation I can't get back and have to try to do something else. Not to mention hotel stay and travel back home. I mean I always get travel insurance but.. they would have to have like an additional like 50% off future cruise in addition to FCC.

The zip line was incredible! I got it all on my gopro. What an adrenaline rush. As for the offer, I'd take that in a heartbeat. I'd grab a rental car and drive to the Florida Keys or just explore South fla knowing I got a free cruise coming up. Problem solved

There is also the kid at schlitterbahn several years ago that was too light, bounced up on a water slide, and got his head whacked clean off.

Color me dumb but how on earth can a cruise line possibly over book the ship. Apparently it happens all the time especially with airlines.

Of course I would take the deal, I am not a fool! I could use the refund and book another cruise, I'm sure one was leaving out within that day or two from the exact same port, and I would have had another free cruise to use! 🤦🏾

Let’s see Royal, if you’re so desperate for me to chshge my plans, let’s see, you refund me the cruise, give me the 100% FCC, refund my airfare, my prepaid ground transportation. Oh and my hotel reservations as their cancellation deadline has passed and I’ll be penalized. Then we’ll talk. 🙄 Just offering some sweet cruise deal because if YOUR mistake isn’t that easy for everyone. Do you seriously think I’m buying my flights a week before the cruise? So yeah if you live in Florida or another close by port where you drive, the offer might work. For most of us, start learning how to better book Royal and other cruise lines. This trend is getting pathetic.

The one with swerving the safety measures I don't get is parents with their kids. There's easier ways to get rid of your kids than that! First, I think height measurements should be taken from a seated position. It's not just them falling out but those restraints are meant to come down on specific points and an adult bar that is to come down on my lap would come down on a child's stomach. There are lots of lil' organs in there to get squished.

My brother and I did the zip line in Labadee a few years ago and I will admit that I came close to backing out at the last minute .My brother threatened to push me off the cliff(😂😂😂 just kidding).,,,my advice is don't look down! Once we got going it was such a rush!! I would definitely do it again

What happens if no one takes the offer and all these people show up at the port? Do they call again saying they are cancelling your cruise? I never understood the overbooking practice anyway. Regarding the scam number, if you google a business, you will notice that the first couple of hits are "sponsored" and not necessarily from the company you are googling. I usually scroll down a bit until you get below the "sponsored" lines.
