$8+ for an espresso? Fml
-
Part 2….👏….imma say it…he not no police
-
I’m not following ………
-
That's so scary but definitely a scam right? Like that's just some guy who's supposed to intimidate you into giving him the money right??
-
It was a scam and he’s not a cop?
-
If I were you, I’d call the police and tell them to come and confirm with them. Local police don’t want any issues from the U.S. embassy so don’t be shy and contact them.
-
✡️🕎🕍🇮🇱 – we see you baby and we love it (don’t be shy about it) מתכת ירקן קלואי ❤
-
How could he call you – where did he get your phone number from? And how did he find your hotel room? 🤔
-
maybe you should blur that persons id, it has a ton of personal information and I don’t think it’s necessary to put it on the internet
-
Is she your gf?
-
I’m still curious as to what happened? He didn’t get paid $35? so he track you down?
-
I found the restaurant (OJ’s Beach Bar and Restaurant) Menu. Coffee is listed as 11.75 (4.51 USD). Mega scam, even included the tip 🙂
-
This is why you should stop making extremely entitled priveleged videos glorifying third world country "culture" when you have the privilege to permanently live by a civilised first world country laws. Coming from a 3rd world country myself it infuriates me because laws are extremely grey and so is safety or economic privelege. You say you love it because you earn in USD not local currency and you don't suffer like the locals. You slum it out a week or two and then eat in Michelin star restaurants. Of course you think it's "interesting" for that week or so. Ask the locals if poverty is interesting
-
Sounds like a scam group and finding your info and hotel is fucking CREEPY. Like that is some beach shack mafia sh*t
-
How did he get your cell #??
-
Girl just get yourself to St.Vincent and the Grenadines and enjoy your Carribean vacation. This would not happen there, it's small and sort of unknown and the people are wonderful and it is safe for tourists. Be careful out there. That was a rough situation and I'm sorry you had to go through that. I hope their tourism board sees this and arrests these scammers.
-
That's crazy
-
we are missing context cause… whaat? I dont get it.
-
I know shes probably just taking a break, but this being the last thing she posted with nothing for the last two days is a bit ominous 😂
-
When it comes to Antigua I remember one name Sir Vivian Richards.
Your voice is awesome, you should do ASMR talking about your travel experiences I will pass out and doze off with goosebumps and tingling sensation. -
All countries have their good parts and bad parts. i recommend stingray city
-
Okay this is definitely a scam…so messed up but doesn’t showcase how everyone is…still disappointing to see this happen…good you got in on video to show the sketchy stuff going on
-
I am from antigua and i use to work at that place it is a horrible place to work at
-
This situation was handled incorrectly. I do agree that $35 USD for 2 expressos is beyond wild and it looks like you actually passed some great coffee spots.
I would recommend requesting the price before ordering anything, in the future. However i am happy the remainder of your trip was a good experience -
I dont know if he is a cop or not but anytime u get a call from a local Antiguan number its most likely not a scammer
-
As an Antiguan citizen I’m so sorry about that that happens so much 😅
-
I hope u enjoyed my country
-
I live in antigua even i think this is wired you did everything right, scanning is common in antigua i don't this he's a cop
-
I'm from Antigua and I'm deeply sorry you experienced that. That restaurant that you didn't name is on the bad list even for locals. You should have called the police on that police officer. Showing up in plain clothes. The nerve of him talking about he's an officer of the law.
-
Man seeing this from my own country is embarrassing dawg 🤦🏽♂️
-
Come to St Christopher and Nevis 🇰🇳🇰🇳🇰🇳🇰🇳🇰🇳🇰🇳 WE will show you respect and Love
-
Never order unless you know the price and you're willing to pay for it. Everywhere and everyone's prices differ. That is something you don't have control over.
Situation could have been avoided but could have been handled better by the the management of the restaurant and the police officer.Hope you still had a wonderful time though. Please visit Antigua again. We're a lot better than this! 💜
