Beaches in Video Games

let's not forget about one the most iconic beaches, N. Sanity Beach from the Crash Bandicoot series
most of the Crash games have you starting on that exact beach and is a highly known beach,
even if you're not a Crash fan, I'm sure you're heard of this one

there's also the beach from Link's Awakening where you even sit down with Marin
which is probably one of the sweetest moments in a Zelda game and which literally inspired one of my art

I guess I could also mention "Eat at Joe's" from Rayman one, you may only be there for a little bit, but his shop is clearly set on a beach
tho Rayman in general does use beaches, you can even get a "bad ending" in Rayman 2 where if you choose to take the treasure from the character that offers it to you (who literally chases you with sharp teeth down the icy slide level, like whoa was that creepy, epesially when he comes up from the ground and tells Rayman "I'm here")
anyway if you choose to say yes to the treasure you see Rayman on a beach island, fat and with lots of gold, with the text: The End
it's such a funny scene, for a game with so many dark moments

I'm surprised Chrono Cross. But I'll instead pick the game ever made, Yakuza 3, where you spend zero time on the beaches of Okinawa and plenty of time in cities. The atmosphere was great all around tho

Streets of Rage had a nice night time beach. Although I do think it would be nice to see less tropical beaches more. Make a game set in Scarborough.
