Interesting, when fractures reach surface, then you get a water blow out. The land starts flooding with polluted water…… That would not be the first time such accidents occure! Normally it is old wells that start flowing when the abandonment of the well was not good.

Anybody doubting Trump will heavily sanction Iranian oil may be missing an opportunity to make money. By the same token, imposing a tariff on friendly Canadian oil and gas from Alberta and Saskatchewan will disrupt the US energy industry, I expect President Trump's advisors are astute enough to advise against this. Alberta has already beefed up border controls.

Very informative! UNG etf is the closest match to Henry hub by investing in near month futures which can lead to differences due to contango and roll costs to next month contracts. Also don’t forget management fees 💸

If opec has 4 mbd of spare capacity how come the US doesn’t lower its output and use the opec oil to save the US oil for later or add it to the spr? What if opec wants to save its oil as the world is running out of cheap oil and the US needs the lower oil price and opec doesn’t want lower prices?

Very good and informative videos. You should definitely watch the TV show Landman. It was filmed in Midland and focuses on a company operating in the Permian Basin. It’s both fascinating and highly recommended!

Oklahoma went through the earthquake issue from injection wells years ago. You’d think TX would know that. They were able to mitigate the issue to a large extent.
