    Yes my husband and I have passports.

    As for travelling to place considered a place better skipped- I'd rather skip. There is nothing relaxing or enjoyable about worrying or feeling like I am on a tight leash while visiting a place, due to an abundance of concern about safety- I'd rather go somewhere else.
