Skip Aruba. When the oil refinery collapsed they had to do something. So they took up tourism. And marketed the heck out of the place. They made it a Las Vegas on a desert island. I was there for nearly a month on my sailboat waiting for a good weather window for Panama. If you are not into gambling and honky tonk. Skip it. Now at least their neighbor Couicau has nice Dutch culture and architecture. Nice diving too. Much nicer choice. Sorry Aruba, kudos for your marketing though.
