This "anomaly" brings to mind the excellent 'Alfred Hitchcock' episode 'The Jar'. In which a large jar from a sideshow (which was basically a lot of junk) captures peoples attention and led to a lot of discussion as to what was in it. It also looked different from many different angles.

Since U.S. Military Pilots testified under oath before Congress last Summer that they collectively witnessed a UFO/UAP fly by their Plane, and straight into the Ocean WITHOUT losing speed! This same Aircraft then exited OUT of the Ocean and continued flying! I think it would not be too far fetched or outrageous to assume that the anomaly did not originate from Earth. 🛸
