From every review i've seen, if they don't fix the fly problem around the food, they will have more people returning to the ship and less people eating on the island.
-
Is there a reason why thereâs so many flies? Just seems so bizarre. đ
-
Appreciate how they are incorporating the local culture with the lookout and being environmentally cautious
-
The island desperately needs more color. It almost has dessert vibes with all the tan and lack of shade. The band, parade and character costumes have the fun colorful vibes I expected. Also, feel like a slide or some kind of entertainment for teens/adults would go a long way. Maybe they will make some of those changes.
-
The B-roll of you walking away from the camera, and then going back to get it đđđ
-
Thank you so much for your honest reviews!!!
-
Looks like Peter is seeing some benefits from his focus on walking fitness: itâs nice to be able to âduck overâ to the lighthouse etc that are more than a mile away.
-
If they really wanted to be environmentally friendly and employ more locals. They should ditch the gas guzzling trams and transport everyone on electric golf carts.
-
New subscriber! You guys always keep it real, love that you donât LOVE everything and give sound opinions. Just watched all your Tokyo Disney videos đ keep up the great work and my husband and I are living through this channel. Also, the neon green is a vibe đ
-
This seems like just SUCH a poorly designed place (and, yeah, that tram narration is a BIT muchâŠnot very well-done narration)âŠMight it have made more sense to dock a bit closer to the actual facilities??
-
Not really interested in going to this island. Looks like a manifestation of modern disney greed. Nothing special, just a cash grab. Can't even control the flies. Because they know you will still go and spend money even with the flies and generic buildings. Unique cabanas for the people paying $1k extra though cuz Disney gonna Disney.
-
It will be interesting to see what Disney adjusts and changes after the initial opening phase is over. Would you guys return to the island?
-
Thank you guys for taking the time to always find the positive even when maybe things are not perfect. I appreciate that so much. †love you both! Keep the great entertainment coming!!! đđđđ đ§Ąđ§Ąđ§Ąđ§Ąđ§Ąđ§Ą

Thank you for posting so much of the island theme song! Itâs been on repeat in our heads for weeks!
-
That beach is absolutely beautiful! Truly stunning. Until the flies are remedied and they put some covers up for shade, Iâm gonna wait. Mainly bc we love CC so so much, if Iâm paying premium price, I want a premium experience which CC is. Flies and sweating to death, not so much. I have faith they will fix this. When they do, Iâll be happy to book. Great video
-
I just canât get over how beautiful the water looks.
-
I was there in the 80's at Club Med, now known as The Club Med Ruins. I remember the flies were terrible.
-
Everyone one two one two please babyđđđ
-
Am I crazy or is it lookout Cay…. Not Key, right?
-
Not what I expected the lighthouse to look like. Thanks for showing us!
-
The Flies are a bit insane đł Peter was there that much flies?? Timing 28:44 or was that an edit? Cause omg that was wayy too manyđ€ą I hate Flies
-
I canât with the flies yuck đ€ą
-
There ransacking the place was hilarious! Both of you look so happy. Thank you for sharing your perspectives I feel like a bobblehead while watching.
-
Disney and private islands just don't sound right in the same sentance.
Didn't Disney cruise lines used to stop at Lil St. James Island?
Connect the dots people. -
I remember going to this island long before Disney and this happening on it is a shame what they did to the amazing place ppl should not be here
-
I was on Eleuthera in 1981. My husband had his pilots license and we flew from California to West Palm Beach to Eleuthera. It was all tall vegetation and a few local villages. We stayed on Harbor Island across the bay from Eleuthera. At that time Eleuthera was a plantation island and the plantation owners lived on Harbor Island. Although, we stayed in a 5 bedroom house we camped on the southern tip of Eleuthera 1 night. We found out camping was not allowed but we didn't get caught. The flies were horrible but worse the teensy mosquitos were brutal. They were coming through our tent mesh. It was awful. I'm interested in this Disney location but a bit sad that it exists because of my memories of the jungle island I remember. Thank you for your Adventures.
-
The beaches are amazing but the flies…đ«Ł. nevertheless thanks for sharing this adventure đ
-
The Eleuthera Euphoria looks great and the pineapple container works at keeping out the flies lol. Just a note when pronouncing Bahamian… try not to confuse it with bohemian , think of the you pronounce Canada and then Canadian and then think Bahamas and Bahamian.
-
The exclusive design on the bag and ears (and pluto shirt) look junkanoo inspired.
-
This is the fourth vlog of Lookout Cay Iâve watched, and based on what Iâve seen I think Peter made some good points. It does seem like there is fun and beauty to be found, but where is the full immersion? At least they are making an effort to showcase and educate on the culture. More than has been done previously.
-
âDo you want flies with that?â
-
The flies are INSANE! Haha, but that's how NATURE is! Haha i wonder if Disney can ACTUALLY do anything to keep that population down because they're trying not to do too much to the island. I'm sure they will. đ
-
Kind of jealous of the band playing. Getting to make music in such a beautiful place must be heaven!
-
Correction: If you want a view that faces the island, book on the Port side of the ship.
-
Love the art – hate the bugs
-
Hi Adrienne from Theme Park Express đ
-
Pink sands & blue waters†beautiful
-
From my understanding the flies were gone by the second sailing. Also all of the signs were stuck in customs and will hopefully be installed soon
-
The agreement Disney had to have that island with the goal of reducing environmental impact is AN AMAZING IDEA .
I wish you guys at least acknowledged that . Also , an 11 minute walk is nothing lol . Iâm sure you guys walked more than that in Shanghai -
The Pier needs a moving sidewalk like they have at airports. Could be a quick fix!
-
I donât think Peter intended for Kitra to leave in the part where he ran back in the B roll shotsđ
-
Thank you for your review. I appreciate your honesty and detailed information. I think the island looks beautiful and the longer walk doesnât bother me even though I have some pain when walking.
The flies on the other hand are a hard pass for meâŠ.i wonder if you can bring food from the ship with you to eat while visiting? -
kinda disappointing
