I feel bad for Stu being stuck with this guy every Friday…

I think Cole will score 35+ goals this year. Much smarter and creative player. Powerplay will be better. Slaf and Suzuki and Caufield likely will be together for the full season. Line is emerging as one of the best in the NHL.

Painful "analysis"……can we just see more of Engels than having to listen to two people who have the hockey IQ of a potato.

I’ve never seen a 22 yo take so much crap for a 65 point season. If the coach wants you to focus on defence and play like a 30 goal scorer, you’re going to be a 30 goal scorer.

Matt! You mentioned you think "Suzuki doesn't get the respect around the league"? Are you referring to players or so called hockey "experts". Where did you get this information from?

They don’t need one more guy, they need to stay healthy….

This is possibly the worst Montreal Canadiens podcast I ever listened to.

Listening to you two is frustrating….

Love the show. Best podcast around. But these two monotones are the most boring guys to listen to. I’d rather watch water waiting to boil.

It's simple we need goals we 2 stop saying goals 80 points is good do I have 2 remind everyone no 100 point man since 1986 no 50 goal man since 1988 as a 53 year hab fan it's embarrassing..part of the problem over the last 49 years don't have fun don't get excited 1st line ppl come off after 56 seconds not letting any forward play star ice time like 22 or 23 mins example Crosby plays 23 mins a game cole gets 18 mins a game not I'm not saying cole is sid the kid but sid is not in better shape so why not equal ice ti.e…

Not sure if Montreal or Toronto is worst market for over-hyping very average talent but they are neck and neck in this respect.

Jordan Harris is developing a great game and he can really skate. Openness to leading and teaching -Potential. Harris could occasional wing shifts. Good two-way player — I'd like to see him ge some 4th line utility left wing mixed in Like Jim Roberts in past teams. I advocate for NEVER giving up on a player like Harris. Lockeroom natural, leadeship potential He wants to play here and is going all in.

I’m not that high on Newhook. Not that he isn’t a great fit on this team, but I think he’s a 15-20 goal scorer.

Talking about having players with no big big egos, it's also very important that head coaches don't have big big egos too.
