You know, the tap water in Bogotá is potable. In a lot of other Colombian towns and cities it isnt, but here there's no problem

Non GMO native corn is less juicy and sweet. And takes way longer to cook. I personally love that it’s not over sweet like GMO corn in USA

Worth telling the world that in Colombia shops don’t provide you plastic bags anymore as we are trying to help the planet! Reason why you probably had all your shopping in your hands!

In Bogota the center is an old area, the north is much more modern and the south is humble but with nice people

Those animals you call lamas (the name llamas sounds quite differently, like yamas) are NOT native nor common anywhere in Colombia, no matter what the altitude could be; they have been brought there to awe "turistas gringos" out of their money.
Besides, the Pasaje RIvas, although old (about 130 years old), is far from being "the oldest" market place in Bogota. Keep in mind Bogota has continuously been there since 1538, (80 years before the first successful English colony in North America, Plymouth Colony, around 70 years before the failed Jamestown Colony or 57 years before Roanoke Colony). Just to give you some perspective, 5 years before Roanoke Colony, Bogota had already founded its first university, St Thomas Aquinas University (Universidad de Santo Tomás de Aquno), meaning 56 years before Harvard.

nice video! thanks for showing the pretty capital city of my country. Actually, in the view you got from Monserrate you are missing a huge part of the northern part of the city which includes some of the most modern and vibrant zones like T zone, G zone, Usaquén, north Chapinero, Suba…

Hi, I'm from Bogota and I have lived here for more than 35 years. There are no llamas here hahahaha. I think those are the only llamas in Bogota, somebody bring that couple of llamas to here.

We are around 11 million people here in Bogotá!

Bogota is quite safe, is just that some foreigners go for the dangerous places to get drugs or hookers and of course they get mugged or killed even, just as you would in any other country if you're aiming for those thrills

Bogota is not 7 million people – guys come on 11, millions –

    2 things:
    1. You should have also visited the nicer neighborhoods, Chicó and Chapinero for example.

    2. Tap water is drinkable in most Colombian cities.
