    For my honeymoon, my husband and I went to Jamaica Ocho. I had a carry-on, but it was a book bag, and I put my stuff in there.

    We went to Sandals Negril in Jamaica for our one year wedding anniversary (back in 2017) and I fell in love with Sandals!! But have yet to make it back to try another Sandals.

    We did Secrets in 2019 in Dominican Republic and to us, it did not compare to Sandals. (The food was AMAZING in Sandals Negril!)

    Your travel vids are well presented & thorough – glad to see another one! Have you ever checked out Dominican and some of the resorts in Punta Cana? We are researching some now and wondering if you have an opinion on any of them. Many thanks!!

    One of the most important things to me when traveling is the friendliness of the people/staff. The majority of the staff were not friendly at all. We will never go back to Barbados because of that. It seemed like the majority of the people there either hated their job or maybe they hated Americans. It was beyond disappointing. Nothing at all like the people at Negril.

    I had a lot of the same feelings towards sandals when we stayed at grande st Lucian last summer! Grenada was our first sandals and we were in honeymoons bliss and enjoyed it very much. St Lucia….Not impressed and lost our Sandals Hype as well haha

    Not sure if I would stay at this Sandals resort as Barbados is super safe and i enjoy walking around trying new restaurants and enjoy local culture and food.

    My fiancee and myself did a wedding test drive back in May of 2023 and were in the same building as you (lol), that was her favorite pool/bar. Actually we are getting married there too this December. I don't know if it was because we were doing a wedding test drive or what but I never remember waiting longer then ten minutes for a table.

    In my carry on I always pack a mini toiletry bag and a packing cube with one set of pajamas a pair of pants and a shirt and underwear just in case my luggage gets lost. I also put AirTags in my luggage.

    Just got back from Sandals Negril and to me it didn't stack up to Secrets/Hyatt resorts especially with the high price point. Won't be back to sandals.

    I’ve been to sandals Bahamas. Ocho rios. What do you thing about Sandals curaçao? Or should we do Secrets or something. 25 year anniversary. Tku. I live in Tampa. Any advice would be appreciated

    Hi, my fiancé & I are heading to Sandals Royal in Barbados in 7 days. I know the beach is not private. We’re there any issues or is there anything we should be aware of? How was the staff & the food?

    You pay for what you get at sandals. Luxury is always way cheaper than butler rooms. I also suggest booking when they have the 777 deals every week if price is an issue.

    If Sandals lowers the price, that’ll invite a different demographic. Personally, I like the higher prices. I’m not interested in vacationing amongst college students.
