The collab I didn’t know I wanted or needed. Read Andrew’s book last month and it’s been a personal favorite of mine. This is awesome stuff for those of us looking for self betterment within and outside of the fitness space.

The hardcore bodybuilding gym lifestyle only lasts so long, guys. Injuries, as well as other things, change the game as you get older. Not to mention getting older men realize we only have so much time to experience life. Going all out in the gym and pushing yourself is awesome, but after reaching a level of mastery, it's natural to seek out other endeavors. Thats been my experience anyway guys. More to life than the superman lifestyle. Derek can make content on whatever he chooses.

Cool podcast but he skipped a bit fast over his beginnings, from 2000 dollars and a sandwich to 500.000 on the bank account. I have been unemployed for months after graduation. Might aswell just start my own business. would have been cool to hear more about how to get started

Dude talking about mechanical keyboards like they're a world wonder finally've put me off. The list of books was curious, I guess.
But I don't understand what this is doing here, to be completely honest. While being a fan and a viewer. Like… he's pretty boring.
I understand that Derek is curious (is he?) and is building something here, that's good. And I watched Attia happily cause I'm a fan of both. But I much rather hear Derek answer these things. He implied that they "just did a pod", so it's not out yet, I suppose?..
This was just plain boring and a bit… overpolished? Conversation-wise. Idk.
(Also, what's up with the sound, is there something like an AI noise filter or something? It sounds weird.) -
Two things I noticed in the early parts: Sounds like Andrew just started his business without overthinking, dithering, tons of planning, asking for advice or reading tons of books thereby procrastinating until the opportunities dried up.
He also realized something about Warren Buffet that a lot of people don’t get. Buffet buys businesses instead of just putting some money in a minuscule share of stock. All the fundamental analysis and value approach don’t work unless you have enough control to unlock that value. So Andrew acquired businesses instead of playing the stock market. A lot of people I know or have seen online instead pore over balance sheets and then buy some shares – might as well put the money in an index fund. -
I guess your audience has some growing pains to go through.. keep up the good work appreciate the content

A lot of commentators would benefit from divorcing themselves from this false concept of “fairness”. You must protect your life force and use it to change the things YOU can control, rather than being swept into a worthless ocean of jealousy and hatred.
