Hi Jamie, you mentioned that Punta Cana Village is very family-friendly. In my case, I’m looking to move as a single woman in my early 30s. My main concern is not feeling welcome since I don’t have kids or a husband, as you mentioned Punta Cana Village is very family-oriented. Great video, thank you!

You are absolutely right about everything you said of Cap Cana. Honest and right

Great video Jamie. I am currently in Punta Cana now. Here with your friends Kash and Carlos. Just Saw vista Cana and cap Cana. Great insight. I tried making your mixer in Santo Domingo but the time got away from us. Maybe next time. Keep the videos coming. Helps me out a lot. Thanks

In addition to the water park, they are going to build a roller coaster park

C'mon man…a 10 min drive for groceries. Easy….that should not be an issue!

No kids? Thats a plus for me. After raising 4 kids.

Cap Cana is the place to be not only in DR but probably anywhere on planet earth. This is a private gated city not only a community. If someone doesn't like it just live somewhere else. Most everything is sold. If you want to live next to the Colmado and play dominoes then this is a bad choice.

Ciudad las canas has apartments and houses. The design of the apartments is an urban feel. not everyone can afford 800k for a home. So it's more feasible for many and you get to enjoy all of the amenities.

When I saw the headline my first thought was that a competitor to Cap Cana’s owners are sponsoring you or something because it is your second video with similar ideas, but when I went through it, I get it. I feared for a second because we really trust your calls!

The click bait worked 😅! Thanks for the information.

I want the quiet even for a family. That is why we are investing there.

That is something that most people inmediatelly notice, the lack of shopping center inside Cap Cana and not having to drive outside of complex to buy groceries. I bought in Las Canas, just a little away from the baking sun 24/7. I think Las Canas has potencial to become the shopping center hub. They have the land and away from the beach.

Own in both places. You are completely right. One thing Cap Cana is doing better than Punta Cana is that they give a better treatment to the Ciudad Las Canas owners than Punta Cana Resort to the Village owners. Even having the owner card and car sticker the security can get difficult to let you in, and worst if you are going to Las Canas Golf Club to práctice or play, even having a membership. On the other hand, once you have a Cap Cana ID Card, you get access everywhere, compare to go to blue lake than going to Los Ojos Indígenas. Also Cap Cana are being more proactive and building more and more ameneties. If Cap Cana gets a mall inside with a big supermarket, it would be game changing. If PC Resort doesnt treat The Village owners better and not like the lowest class of the group, they will lose families.

Yes please take your family else where! 😂😂😂

Jamie, do you have sny videos geared to first time retired visitors to the DR? We were interested in trying out Puerto Plata or Cabarete, but not in any big all inclusive resorts or the like.

How About a video of Vista cana? Thanks Jamie

I wish I could see a video if it is worth investing in Cap Cana? I have been told the return on investment is between 6-9%, which is not ideal, but still OK. I also read some comments that almost the whole year is a ghost place, and there are hardly any people there, which makes me think that is not a preferred renting place in/ near Punta Cana. To me it looks like a place that you can buy very expensive vacation home to spend quite time with family, but as an investment I don't think so. It looks beautiful but I am looking for investment that I can use for a month or 2 for myself and my family as maximum and the rest of the time will be rent out. Not to mention that most residential premises have rental management companies and you can't really market it yourself. What are your thoughts on that?

Love your perspective and honest opinion. 3 things that will take Cap Cana to the next level.
    1) Juanillo village- right on the lot between the old Margaritaville and the parking lot of cap Cana where there will be boutique shops , art galleries, restaurants, sitting areas for people to gather to give it that community feel

    2) Lake District – a commercial area steps away from El dorado
    park.

    3) this one has not been confirmed but I have it on good authority from a realtor I know that they will build a Supermarket in the near future.

Like you said Cap Cana is more of the long game in the future. Keep up the E&E (Educate and Entertain)

You hit the spot. Worked at cap cana and live about 10 min from there and often go to cap cana. Really good video that can help tons of people make the right decision. Hotels are also empty during the week. Weekends are usually more active

I agreed with you that Cap Cana is not the best place if you have kids. But, is an incredible place to live, and visit. Safety, security and beauty is 100%. Btw, there is a supermarket coming up right outside of Cap Cana I was told. As for me, I don’t mind the supermarket/store 15 min drive. Thanks for making it very clear that you don’t recommend for family with children 😂. Cap Cana is more for those that want serenity, security, good food and a tranquil lifestyle.

You should do a video on the medical situation, hospital doctors and alike

They have a stunning beach at cap cana with a nice restaurant. You’re def going to pay for it though. Way too slow for me though even with two little kids 😅
