I have always had comp rooms, some comp meals. I may have 1 night I splurge on food other than that I don't spend much on eating out. the only thing that's got more expensive for me is just the flight from Toronto. A year ago a booked for 4 on Swoop its was $250 each return. Now Im looking at $700 plus each from Toronto so for me its still reasonable but I am starting to go to Atlantic city more often rather than Vegas.

The go Vegas pass is good. You have free tickets to Carpenter show the rat pack. Show the Elton John and Billy Joel show so these are like $300 for the all inclusive.
-
I almost lost my 💩 when I pulled into The Strat for valet and saw it was $25 !! I’m thinking for The Strat!?? Nope, pulled right back out and went to Sahara for the complimentary valet. Tipped $20
To keep my car up top. -
Great review Melissa and Enrique! 😊❤

Sometimes I find a great rate for the weekend on and off strip. Food best to eat off strip

I used to go to vegas 3 or 4 times a year, minimum. Now i go 0 or 1 times a year. But it's no longer a good value, the weather is terrible, the traffic is insane. It's not good anymore, i prefer san diego now.

I went to Las Vegas at least once a year from 2018 to 2023(except in 2020), and I definitely agree. The first time I really didn't know what I was getting into. I was starting to get tired of going through all the trouble of boarding a flight from Baltimore then seeing my travel budget fly out the window at the nightclubs on my first night in Vegas. Then MGMs handling of the cyber security event last year was what pushed me over the edge, basically. Vegas and I are done.

Nice video Melissa and Enrique. I am surprised to see that sightseeing spending has remained relatively steady over the past few years. I have a feeling that sightseeing caters mainly to first timers, people who rarely come, or are international tourists

More expensive, but still worth visiting.
I’ve been there so many times since 2001, I lost track of how many times I’ve been there. 😊
-
Watching so I can make Enrique's "good list" lol! 😂 And of course for the great presentation and information provided. 😊😎👍

I don't need a survey to know Vegas is not a bargain anymore plus they are making record profits part of that is the odds on table games are worse.
-
We are done with Vegas, love the place but prices are out of control
-
I love blackjack, but won't play at a 6:5 table. Instead, I play video poker at a casino bar. Hopefully, people will pull back on playing these casino-pinching games (like double and triple zero roulette), forcing them to go back to what Las Vegas once was. I doubt it will happen, but at the very least it could create competition between casinos. Thanks for the video; great information!

This is my trick by your airplane ticket 30 days a head

Great video. No doubt prices are out of control.

Wonderful video. Spot on.

Great tips.
To save on travel we grab a Deuce pass and use that to explore different resorts every time we visit.
We stay at Treasure Island and get great rates with no resort fees. Plus each room has a mini fridge in it. -
Have you been to Pampas Brazilian grill in the Miracle Mile shops? Just wondering if it is worth it to visit this place that brings unlimited meat to your table. I have been to something like this here in Canada

Very informative, thank you guys! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I used to go to Vegas 2-3 times a year after retirement in 2000. Stayed at the Westward Ho for $25 a night and comped on some. Played .25 VP and could stay 4-5 days for less than $1000. Ate , saw shows, drank, and never went home broke. Last trip was 2019 and not sure of ever going back.🤑

Laughlin is a nice alternative if you don’t need the glitz and glamour.
Nice for more chilled crowd. -
Great Video!!! Have ever considered doing a video on visitors from out of town, during the weekday, I fly in from Phoenix on Monday-Thursday package deal on Priceline/Expedia, Airline Tickets are $.35 cents, "Yes 35 cents each way" plus taxes which is about $17 dollars, stay at Linq/Flamingo/Harrah's for a total of 220-250 per person package deal, you get better deals during week plus less crowds!!!! Have not checked out flights from LA/San Francisco/San Diego/Denver/Salt Lake City, but I am sure you would probably get same airline fee of cheap cheap, must be a kick back from Hotels?

It's just a simple case of… planning. Knock on wood, we've never over spent once. We visit about 5 times a year. Now, being fully transparent here… We get alot of freebies and upgrades, because of my wife! Truth be told, I wouldn't pay for 90% of the stuff that we do get! Anyhoo, thanks for the insight, and video!

The Blackjack odds are correct, but that is assuming perfect play. I refuse to play at a 6-5 table. Amazingly Atlantic City has much better Blackjack odds. Very good and informative video, Thank You

I rather spend my hard earn money in Europe.

I just returned from Vegas and I'm already trying to go back 😅

And if people would have boycotted from the beginning when they first started charging resort fees, that would’ve put a stop to it right there. But no, the suckers just kept on coming and so did more and more inventive fees. The floodgates have been opened so just expect more and more of that thanks to stupid suckers, going right along with it. And yes, they are driving out the middle-class, which is basically the new poor in this country.
But unlike say the rip off fast food industry that are having to close restaurants left and right, these corporate thieves in Vegas are being subsidized by the rich and the whales that have become even wealthier in this country at the expense of the middle-class and the poor. -
Great to see you’ve included that greedy douche bag, Gordon Ramsay, and his merchandise and his little money pit that people crazingly are drawn to. Literally just like the casinos he has a license to print money based on suckers/just plain stupid people.

I have lived in LA$ VEGA$ since 2011 and this place has just turned into a $uburb of California!!! This is going to ultimately hurt Las Vegas and locals like myself are forced out because the wages do not match the cost of living!!! Good Luck!!! :(- !!!
-
Thank you guys for going to the trouble of gathering all the statistics and making this extremely informative video !! Very well produced and appreciated !!!

Super helpful!

It’s become an overpriced city overcharging for everything. If you visit you are a sucker you lost without gambling. Why would it be a good Idea to Pay 500% extra tax on drinks? A regular 30, dollar bottle could go for 90, plus. Dollars. It’s just not smart. Vegas is not special. People just like to over appraise this dirty stinky place. Find better destinations besides the city is plagued with crime.

Very interesting and informative video! We go to Vegas about 2-3 times a year, and the money-saving tips are always appreciated.
