    Wow😮, Never knew this. But when I saw some pictures from books of slavery in Jamaica I saw machinery like this but always thought the British built them, now I know it was slaves and some freed black men. I appreciate you for all this information. Thank you keep up the great work. Look how this man takes credits for someone else's work. WOW 😲

    8:59 Just a little correction. Black Africans were the first Iron Age cultures and civilisations who independently invented iron working.
    We had iron working since 3200 BCE in Central-West Africa. We were the best iron workers on earth and we had millions of artisanal blacksmiths all over the continent, especially with the spread of the Bantu which began 4000 years ago.

    We invented iron working straight from the Stone Age without the Copper Age (except North Africa) because we worked with ceramics in laterite (iron rich) soils. Our women discovered iron beads after firing the clay pots as a byproduct and men got into iron working from there.

    That was great Trill, I had written on the African Iron workers in Americas and how they brought African designs to fashionable building everywhere down South but especially in New Orleans this just add another dimension it, and thanks for the links, they will come in handy.

    The earliest iron mines found in the Americas is in Chile which is dated to 12,000 yo. I can only deduce iron was smelted and made into iron items for farming and war. The Incans never used iron, but made copper, bronze and items. The earliest evidence of iron work found in Americas goes back 7,000 years.

    Any African nations/investors interested in doing business with Haiti? They're plentiful in Iron. Would create many, many jobs and huge opportunities on both sides for investors in Haiti and African nations. Just saying.
