Dear Tom & Renee
using written markers on many of the ancient sites in Rome was very good, to connect with viewers to be able to review video and know what to visit.
I like the way you filmed the video at the Roman Forum
minimizing the over saturating of tourists visiting, with your good filming, seeing just the ancient sites/sights that was very good.
visiting the Colosseum, it was very interesting seeing inside this historical elliptical amphitheatre
and imagining the past,
gladiators fighting and animal hunts and knowing so many, many people and animals died here, just by
human blood sports probably weekend entertainment of the time, is truly sad to know, this was actually a must loved thing as entertainment,
it was certainly a very cruel time,
with
no moral compass

Hi Renee
Huge day in Rome !!!
The drive into Rome is long from the port
We had a Vespa ride around Rome on our trip which was fantastic
We have visited the coluseum before and was amazed by the water irrigation pipes going into it and the Romans building of it
Florence and leaning tower of Pisa was fantastic as well
Every day after our excursion we would have a swim 🏊 to chill out.
