    I did 3 months in southeast asia this spring and I felt the same way… obviously I'm very incredibly fortunate and privileged to have had the means to do so, but doing it on a shoestring budget meant lots of times it was was rough af/ not particularly fun and enjoyable. And ofc everything at home was in shambles, no career, friends relationships lol… did have incredible times and learn a lot, especially with being grateful for what I have in the US

    I just invested in a Rimowa Original cabin suitcase, and it’s really great. Posh brand aside: It’s the perfect size and fits as hand-luggage (pro tip: never check in your bag at outbound flights!). It is pretty expensive though, but it comes with a lifetime warranty and you can basically get it fixed in every country in the world!

    If you ever decide to give India another shot, you should visit places like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kerala (South India is very different from North India), Himachal Pradesh and the northeast of India. It's always strange to me that foreigners decide to visit places like Varanasi, Bihar and Delhi over everything else. It's a misinformed decision.

    The weird thing about India is that it's the source of some pretty amazing spiritual texts, yoga, Hinduism, & Buddhism, and yet the society on a whole is so devoid of real morality. The treatment of women there is beyond belief. Absolute horror.

    Bro, the people would definitely enjoy you doing a vlog about going to a Japanese gym, cooking a meal once in a while, etc. It might not be as interesting or exciting, but I still think people would enjoy it, and some content is better than no content 👍

    Dude I enjoy your candid approach, but maybe learn a little WW2 history before claiming the US won the war for everyone lol. You may not realize there were other countries involved… and were fighting YEARS before the US decided to finally pull their collective thumbs out and stop by. I'm not disagreeing that the French can be pricks, just in general the whole "US won the WAR" thing. It's old, ignorant, and incorrect.

    I was roughing it touring USA with my 2 dogs for 7 months and went back to frozen Midwest just to park in middle of my land with small camper or sleep at my moms small retirement home apartment. After 7 months living in a vehicle especially in So Cal where the homeless population has anyone without a fixed structure vilified and branded a pariah, just to go home to Midwest and sit in my own space was necessary after 7 months. However I did have an adventure. It was hard though. So I agree with what you say. It’s nice you are honest.
