As a Jamaican this is both scary and somewhat exiting. Last hurricane I can remember was hurricane Dean (also Ivan). I was just starting highschool during dean. I do hope this doesn't pull a fast one on us though. Jamaica can't manage more than a cat 2 right now.

¹ The Republicans are not criticizing Trump, even though he was worse than Biden with his lying!!
² Democrats and the free world are ostracizing Biden because he had a cold! They are not taking into consideration the jaunts Biden took to Europe and his trip back home to see his son all while trying to bone up for the debate! If he hadn't shown up, you all be brow breaking him for saying he was exhausted from all of the time he spent in Europe, for the cold that's racking his body!

I've been trying to warn people here for a couple of days, but they don't believe me. It's just "We never have hurricanes until September!" All their supposed news is via TikTok. Craziness. Let's just hope the thing moves south of us, back down to category 1. I'm loading up on supplies Monday morning, anyway.
