H&D – Good to see the reunite happened fairly easily after all, and that the worst you got from the storm was getting bounced around a bit. Keep up the great work, stay honest, and keep smiling! There are good things in your future!!! Peace! 😀

No matter what country you go to governments are screwed up. Glad it all turned out OK.

You say you are still learning but yet you are smarter than all of those people that stayed in St Vincent and the Grenadines, Carriacou and Grenada. You did the RIGHT thing. Get out of there to almost guaranteed safety………TRINIDAD. I love Trinidad anyway. Sorry for all the the immigration problems. I made this trip both ways at least a dozen times. Also sailed to Colombia, loved Cartagena! Wonderful people. You should talk to UMA and Zatara. They have a lot of experience in this issue.

hair grel, is for sailors not captains

The way around this problem is to buy a fully refundable ticket out of the country to show immigration when you arrive. Then just cancel it and get a refund once you are safely onboard the boat.

To me the night sailing seems so cool but also scary depending on the weather and traffic. But in calm sea and traffic very cool. Also a fantastic adventure. Cheers ⛵🍻

You NEED to use a safety line when moving your dingy motor on & off the ship!!!! Learn BEFORE you drop it. Also a short safety line or wire when it is on the dingy.

Daniella is a sweetheart and a trooper!
Huub you’re a lucky man.. hindsight is always 20/20.
Enjoy your videos and your take on things.. not my approach per se but it’s nice to see things from a different perspective, much appreciated.
I also concur with Andy Morrison 5901… I don’t think too many women would put up with you in some respects..🤣
You guys be safe and enjoy yourselves .. great fun to watch and learn a bit as well.
    Best wishes!!

Where did you find her???? Daniela is so sweet and such a good first mate. You are a lucky man, and she is a lucky woman. I can tell you respect her very much, and from personal experience, I can tell you that respect is as important as love. I've been watching you for a while and was wondering how you did during Beryl. I'm glad you guys are safe. I look forward to my adventures. Safe sailing.

Now we know why sailing in squalls and storms is much more pleasant than getting put down by buraucrazy.

The dingy motor: this was more stressful than at the harbour office!
NB: Just use a line in case the motor goes on a dive 🙂

I'm sorry you and Daniela had to go through that with immigration, our system here in T&T can sometimes be very frustrating. Love watching your videos though. All the best to you guys

Hey Huub, love your content. Keep it up, and safe travels! I'm from Trinidad and Tobago, and just imagine living here and having to endure that and more inane red tape to get anything processed!

Grrreat. Dominica was my 1st view of you 2. The 2nd place i would wish to retire. Nice guy adorable girl.

How often do you clean underneath of a boat?

    Glad you made it through

Lmao who needs hair jell on the ocean? 😂😂 Thanks for the video and happy sailing! 👍😀⛵

I’ve been watching your channel for a while and I enjoy it. I’m from Guyana and I had a business that made garments for export and I would have to visit Trinidad twice a year and every time I went there I had a problem with immigration they are totally power drunk jerks I would get so mad that I always have to ask for a senior supervisor, they are the worse in the Caribbean. Sorry you had to experience that stress.

Hello, I stumbled on your videos. I'm sailing a bit and dream of getting a trimaran. Is Grenada a good place to find a deal perhaps? If so, any leads on where to look?

Yes, the hair gel is really an issue. Can’t sail in the middle of the ocean without your hair looking good! 🤣

Trinidad and Tobago immigration officers treat the locals same way.

Cha ga ra mas. They are making sure you are not human trafficing her. Do not worry about it too much. They are testing you!

Immigration issues are such a pain! We’re new to your channel and we’ll subscribe. It’s good to see the reality of sailing with a good sense of humor😊
