umm… right – I meant my other right! Love the diving – have to work on the surface support. At least the diving (other than the gas for the generator) is pretty inexpensive now that you have all the gear. Looking forward to more diving.

Thanks for the mention of the loss suffered by our friends in Carriacou and the southern Grenadines.
S/Y Lacadienne. Our sign at Paradise beach club is just above and to the right of Indioko at 1:47 in your video.

I was pleased to see that your sticker was still on the umbrella on Mopion Island 3 weeks ago — Not sure if the umbrella is still there after Beryl.

What a dive! Hard to forget an experience like that. 😉

You guys never catch anything nice to eat. It’s the bait you are using. Nona the sailing channel has fought so much tasty fish to eat. Go see how they do it.

G eat the hard paddle boat. After you finish using just strap them to the side on the safety lines. Simple no fuss and out the way when your done.

You cannot speak about Fakarava as a "traditional" touristic spot – that’s a bit misleading. You won't find hotel resorts, as people might understand as a touristic spot. In 2016 Fakarava became part of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. So, there are strict regulations for tourism on land and in sea. But there are around twenty different places to stay on Fakarava – family owned guesthouses and pensions.
Not the luxury as in a high-class hotel resort, but the warm, friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to experience the Tahitian way of life up close. Fakarava is a truly gem, so tourists are scuba divers and/or guests, who seek pure relaxation in haven of peace and tranquility in one of the world's most beautiful landscapes, that nature has created.
Here some information about the festival:
This Music Festival took first place in 1982 in France and its overseas departments/countries. This festival is celebrated around the world every 21 June, the symbol of the first day of summer. So, French-Polynesia celebrates this event on all islands/atolls. Next day Fakarava goes back to its kind of "Robinson" life and tranquility and peace of being a Biosphere Reserve.
    Greetings from Moorea 🌴 🏖 😎 🇵🇫 🇫🇷 🇪🇺 Monika
PS: We have friends on Fakarava, always love to visit this magnificant place. At the moment our friends' kids are visiting Moorea, just next door to our house.😃
