They made cardboard beds to save money and keep it. These Olympics are probably the worst in history.

The worst craziest olympics event : PARIS 2024…..Europe country…
    Liberte…liberte…liberte…from proper facilities..

Why is Simone considered the level of these stars?

it's crazy that my college dorm from 10 years ago looked way better than world-class athletes' accommodations 😅

My cat would love to scratch on those cardboard beds. 😂

There is a geothermal cooling for the olympics village using few energy. It 's on purpose to sell the buildings to poor poeple or middle class. This is eco friendly on purpose. The village is built in a poor suburb.

The Seine river will be swimmable in summer 2025 when a last giant reservoir for rainwater will be in service to clean rainwater. Nowadays it goes into the Seine because it's too much water to clean and it increases the pollution. Poeple can't swim into the river. The seine will be one of the first river in an industrialized country to be swimmable.

The amount of money they make and they can't even accommodate with real beds? Not even cots? They don't even have AC units in their rooms.

I like how they’re tryna be diplomatic by repeatedly avoiding to say “ain’t no way I’m sleeping on cardboard”

Now Imagine if this happened in China. Y’all would be commenting the most racist crap there is, CCP this, communism that. And all other biased judgments you have against country that your Cnn and BBC have planted in your dog brains. So now look at this oh so classy sophisticated France, modern and develop first world country France givenchy louis vuitton dior bullcrap, please feel free to yell out your most racist comment out there to these “superior”westerners

No AC, No SLEEP, No RESULTS

So let me get this straight; I, live in a small community on the Texas Border that has better living conditions than any Parisian apartment in "The most feminine city in the world." 🤔
And on top of that, the Rio Grande is safer than the cesspool that is the Seine? 😂

No wonder thousands of people are breaking into my community.

The olympics village has a geothermal cooling using few energy , it 's eco friendly . And the athletes could ask for personnal A/C in each room if they wanted. The whole social medias are full of misinformations and fake news

The food is not rationned ( They give the unused food to the poor every day), same beds than Tokyo 2020 eco friendly, the village has geothermal cooling . The whole village is designed to be re used for social flats or middle class . All is on purpose to be eco friendly and re used at 100 % . A lot of buildings already existed

After what Britney Griener went through with the hell of being a prisoner, can you blame the lady for wanting to stay in a five-star hotel? I sure would.

The dignitaries of the Olympic Games are allowed to stay in 5-star hotels, while the competitors are forced to stay in hostel facilities. Without air conditioning.

France is so far the worst country to have held the Olympics and i think its because god is putting them to shame for them trying to make fun of Jesus.

Cardboard beds??? And some if not most of these athletes are more than 6.5 tall, and you expect them to sleep in a box, with their feet hanging out??? So they used all the. Money in the ceremony and cut xorners in beds, sheets and the food a "gastronomicak experience" according to aome who answered the menu questiona among other reason being to appear more green earth friendly. When you have an athlete who just xompeted his or her body is asking for and craving food, protein, Meat! But as long as environmentalists are happy right

The bed is a mattress, the bed frame is cardboard. That's different than a cardboard bed. While the video doesn't show the mattress, several athletes have shared this on Insta. Additionally, cardboard bed frame is have been used in previous Olympics.

Remember when athletes were treated well? Like they earned something? Now all the get is a goodie bag and a cardboard bed as they are subjected to woke politics. GOTTA SAVE THE PLANET WITH OUR NO AC BUILDING! Pathetic.

    France isn't comfortable.

The beds and the maitresses are the same as in Tokyo ! The US basketball players have not been to the Olympic Village for years (several Olympiads). They still prefer to go to hotels !

USA Basketball, as well as most international high profile players, have huge incomes and habits of luxury…
Besides the luxury element, the lack of air conditioning and probably the rather lively (if not noisy) atmosphere in the village is probably not very good when seeking rest.
And most of all, I don’t think the village’s standard cardboard beds are adequately sized for big tall guys like them.
Teddy Riner, the (French) Olympic champion in heavyweight judo, made the same choice, for example.

This was the Temu version of the Olympics

That’s not a bad idea to give athletes the option to purchase their own stays, they have the basics provided and if they dont find it hospitable then there’s always the freedom to make yourself happy & comfy 🙌🏽

This, the female boxer debacle and the opening/closing ceremonies were designed to bring down the Olympic spirit. Can't have the world coming together in celebration! How dare the plebs try to achieve greatness! They've succeeded only if people stop supporting these otherwise great athletes.

Paris kept Olympic funds and didnt provide adequate food or sleeping quarters
Unreal paris expected athletes to swim in a poo river
Paris should never be a location for any huge event

Its soo rediculas to expect athletes to sleep on cardboard with no air conditioning and horrid food

They would have got better if they were in Germany or something. Hell even my country would have gave them better accommodations.

There's no way someone as big as Anthony Davis would even be able to fit sleeping on that cardboard bed lol.

The French should not be given to just another major event! Absolute disgrace! Macron should be ashamed!

they are more busy with lgbtq stuff rather than this ☠️💀

France saved so much money! Brilliant!

France should be fined for this.

in Tokyo it was the same cardboard beds !

The buildings in the Olympic Village have been designed to reduce the outside temperature by 6 degrees. Paris enjoys a temperate climate. There were also cooling pipes under the floors, roller shutters and fans. The games are committed to making ecological games, which is why there was no air conditioning, it is not at all for the sake of economy. Each delegation was informed before the competition and was able to book mobile air conditioners before and during the games.

For the catering of the Olympic Village, there was an overdemand for meat and eggs on the first day, there was a readjustment the next day to meet the demand of the athletes. The same goes for transport, drivers have been added, etc. There is the testimony of athletes who said that the problems were solved and that everything was fine for the food and that the quantities were sufficient. For the beds and the maitresses in the Olympic Village, they are the same as in Tokyo.

I've watched all of the Olympics since '68. Paris was the worst host I have ever seen. As a viewer, I felt sorry for the Olympians having to compete there.

The LA Olympics made a profit and that's because they planned on what to do after the Olympics. The Olympics village villas became a suburb and the dining hall, a supermarket etc. The learning was that it's better to build good accommodation that people want to buy than dingy budget student accomodation.
