    Civil forfeiture is horrendous. Way too many instances of government seizures without due process. Then after proving the money is legit they still don’t return it until the lawyers get involved. Absolutely disgusting to me. If it’s tied to illegal purposes, such as drugs, then it’s seizure is warranted. But just because they think it’s a lot of money they presume way too much that it’s from illegal purposes without any proof. “You are free to leave but I’m taking your money” sounds like robbery to me than justice.
