Really glad it actually happened. Will make it easier when I make the move soon. Thanks for the update.

60 days is truly more attractive for arrival than 30 since I would be flying from the US. Great news.

Great timing. Just had my timeline for when I get out the Army. Can't wait. Thanks for yet another very informative video. Great channel and I hope it grows, as it really should.

No announcement on any Thai embassy abroad, I bet it’s not happening.

Has it been officially announced that you can extend the new 60 days visa free? I don’t think it has.

This news is wonderful and I’m grateful for this new change but wouldn’t it be even more wonderful if Thailand would do what Vietnam has already done and allow 90 days on arrival, or 180 days like Mexico? If Thailand really wants to boost tourism, they could easily make that change.

Can you still do a border run and stay another, now 60 days?

MOTHER TRUCKER. I renewed last week only for 30 days.. dang it

Now they need to clearly define that expat tax law and probably ease that up. The way it seems now, it seems like there is a strong incentive to not be in Thailand longer than six months. I'm sure that's not what the government intended, but it seems like most big changes have unintended consequences. If one were to buy a condo and live in it, would they have to pay 30% tax on that? Make it make sense!

Should be 90 days like Vietnam and an also add the extension….

60 days are not visa of arrival, but visa exemption.

Announcements are one thing, getting a 60 day visa on arrival as per the announcement is another thing. There is always lag time for it to filter down.

I am planning a trip to SE Asia next year. I would like to enter Thailand twice in less than 30 days. How can I accomplish this? What visa or visas would accomplish this?

Nobody has the money to come Can’t anyone understand this . Economy is not good anywhere

Thailand is finally catching up with the rest of the world that has 3 month on arrival. They make more money by people staying longer.
