River cruising is totally different from the cruises that we know and love. We have been looking at river cruises for a while. You definitely need to do your research. At least some of them are more inclusive than others, some you can flights at a great price. We have been wanting to do a Christmas Market for a while, they are pricey but worth every penny. We have been on Holland America, Princess, Carnival, NCL, Royal Caribbean. We now have been looking at Azamara, MSC's new ships like MSC Euribia, MS World Europa, MSC World America. Great podcast Derek, Alex. Lots of good tips.

Going to a private Island only actually sounds AMAZING! That is the both of both worlds. You get sea/ship time (which is mostly all that matters to me right now) and if you want to get off the ship you have a beautiful beach everyday in walking distance (again all I want to do 😂) or whatever activities you have. It’s like taking Vegas to the beach. The only downfall for me is my home port is in CA no private islands in the Pacific. Our first cruise outside of CA is next year to Bahamas, so excited for that.
I’m really interested in the Bermuda cruises that stay for 3 days, that sounds heavenly. -
Enjoyed the podcast as always. Alex, I’ll be on the Venezia as you get off, bummer. I would have booked the cruise that your on had I seen it in time. Lee gets off as you do also so I’ll miss seeing him as well. Double bummer.
