    Land rent and paying fielty to the landlord is the modern format of slavery. To work to enrich someone else and not yourself.
    Working and making no material gains.

    Slavery wasn't abolished. It was redesigned. To encompass more people.

    Didn't Pope Innocent III annul the magna carta the same year it was written and have King John cede all the land, goods and chattels (people) to the Pope under threat of excommunication hence the nickname John 'Lackland' Plantagenet? The people have no constitution, that's reserved by the Crown Inc.
