The biggest difference between the Dominican Republic and the United States is that at least 8 out of 10 people here in the Dominican Republic well speak to you and be friendly with you âĻ America is no longer a social country. Everybody is afraid of each other. The Dominican Republic turns in to a family reunion as soon as the sun goes downâĻand in America, people are afraid to get to know each other, unfortunately
-
Back in the 70's Black families used to do this. We got too far away from OUR culture.
-
Them cherry chan's & Alexander the grapes. Lemonheads Lol! You took it all the way back!
I used to tear them thangs up! đđđ
-
My logic is that DR is an outside society all year round and with not much effort. The US, not so much.
-
OTRA ES QUE ENCUENTRA UN AMIGO NUEVO CADA VES QUE VAS AL COLMADO
-
From a person who just started traveling to the DR a few years ago, I agree. The energy is different, the people are more friendlier. In the states, nobody have time for family anymore. Our lives revolve around work.
-
Hi, Iâm new to the channel- can you guys make a video explaining your source of income and if you know any source of online income people could live off living in Dr đŠđ´
-
Do a video on the arrogant Gringo that think they're better than my Dominicans đŠđ´ (I'm their Americano đ so it's all good, I'm theirs, they can have me đ) đđđ

Mud fights at the rivers is something else đđđđ

I like more the rivers

Ok. I have to agree. I use to sell ice cream and I have to admit that most of the time they were birthday ice cream until the weekend where I could welcome couples l. Therefore, socialisation is dead in here. My folks that are working in restauration know that, at least in the DR you can do some things before the weekend. As I usually say, in Santo Domingo you get enough for your money. Eastern Parkway in New York is nice…
-
The good old USA is the place where one makes a lot money and dreams come true. After that, one wishes to relax and enjoy life differently. The Dominican Republic gives you that chance. It seems to me that the DR gets better and better as time goes by. It becomes less corrupt, safer, more advance in every aspect, and extremely friendly in comparison to the USA and Europe.

I went to Rio Fula and they also kill and cook the chicken right there. They have a pen full of live chickens and asked me which one I wanted to eat? đŗ I donât want to give a chicken its death sentence! Itâs like none of the chickens wanted to give you the eye contact, so you would pick themđ
-
I thought for sure you both would say that you don't have to deal with the high level of racism and crime in the D.R. as it is in the U.S.
-
I agree with the points made in this video. Dominicans can be more familial and social whether it be playing dominos or sitting around with a Presidente. It's not that we don't do those things in the U.S. "es que La Republica Dominicana es mas tranquilo…jajajaa." Another analogy is the D.R. and the U.S. are like two beautiful women every man has his preference. Sometimes women have characteristics that cannot be defined it's the same with the difference between the D.R. and the U.S. there is just a difference that cannot be defined but you know it and you feel it…tu sabes…jajaja.

I love my country đŠđ´

Families not getting together in the US is a modern thing. 70's 80's and 90's family and friends came together to play cards, dominoes, board games, cook outs….man i miss those days
-
Basically like on classic weekend

Nice

Hey guys, trust all is well! Yes lots of truths to your conversation. I was just in the DR last week visiting friends and meeting new folks that have relocated to the Santo Domingo area. A few have bern there for 15 years, so they would tend to agree with you. For me, I'm retired so i have the opportunity to visit many different countries. But, I must admit that one of favorites will always be the DR. I love the beach (Boca Chica) with their fried fish dinners. I also enjoy taking the local transportation to get out there from Santo Domingo. The people on the bus, speaking Spanish to me, me speaking " Spanglish" to them lol! But hey I give it my best and it works fine! One thing though…its hot as hell there, lawd! But, i do enjoy the country with its excellent food and people ( Colon Parke') is an excellent place for different food options. Also, the weather in America depending on your region is very different too which sometimes makes it more difficult to move around. But hey its all good, I love the time i spend in the DR which for me is just about right! It's still always good to come back home…to the the good ol USA!đ

Nice video..đđŋ

Bodega

It is very different, to me the people are more friendlier, less homicide, cost of living is good for me, but I just donât like the traffic in Santo Domingo
-
Where to meet a wonderful women?
-
To much free time is very good it's healthy keeps the doctor away
-
I must agree that the people are much friendlier and families socialized together more. It doesnât have to be a special occasion, they enjoy being with family and friends. I know every place have their share of problems but I think DR is safer than the US. They have security everywhere, banks, grocery stores, shopping malls, service stations ( and they are full service too) on the streets and etc. They donât have guns drawn everywhere but their presence is noticeable, it looks as if the people have respect for them, donât know if itâs bc the lifestyle is different and a lil laidback. Been there 3or4 times and have gone to different areas/places and I must say that I felt safe and canât forget about the food đđđ itâs great!!!

Nice video guys and enjoyable for all topics you mentioned.
At the time I watch you I am practicing understanding and a big âthankâ for that.
