The dprk guys with the bow legs and bulging collarbones that almost cut skin will also be heavily disadvantaged as far as overall intelligence is concerned.
Bean from Ender's games isn't real, it doesn't work that way.

Denmark also finally joined the EU Common Security & Foreign Policy for the first time

A bad year for autocrats globally, a good year for autocrats in the west 😂

I’m really very disappointed that Kiwiland and Emutopia didn’t make the cut…
-
can you make a video about the older weapons europe can still give to ukraine? stuff like TPZ fuchs and more polish bwp1…
-
Great work as always. Looking forward to a great 2025

Isn't it wonderful to live in a world where the US "probably" won't attack Denmark for Greenland? All because we elected an insane fucktard for president?
-
Mr. Perun, are you of Spanish decent?
-
Perun, man, I've followed you since you started this channel and you are my main comfort background, aswell as educational foreground youtube addiction. Learning loads, laughing at those Perun brand jokes, falling asleep laptop actually on lap. It tickles my "AuDHD" in the best of ways.. Thanks for keeping it true to format but always interesting. Norwegian 45yo dude, WW2 bunker and coastal fort nerd and a huge fan.

very much liked this, not minor topics at all, thank you and onward!

Don’t waste your time with Zafrica, nobody will watch, only the bots 🤖 and you’ll get in trouble with the YT monetizing algorithm

Nice to hear that Dameo is doing better

Loved the video! Thank you 👍

If you are doing Africa, then please include Burkina Faso.

I am very much looking forward for you making a video analyzing Africa.

56:21 I published this tweet for lost_warinua. Feels awesome to be featured on one of those rare moments that I use humour on the account! Much love Perun!

> Invading soldiers in Eastern Europe severely lacking winter uniformsHey, I've seen this one before, it's a classic!

Venezuela invading Guyana always seemed very unlikely. Sadam Hussein had been on good terms with the US at least once upon a time when he invaded a small oil rich nation on the other side of the planet. Doing it in the US's backyard as an unpopular government whom the US would be glad to be rid of as it is sounded suicidal.

8:30 as absurd as that sounds, he's 1000% correct. Israel gained literally nothing from this whole ordeal. Hezbollah never left the area south of the litani, so that's one israeli delusion, and as soon as the idf leaves they'll station themselves right on the border with ease. Hezbollah is fighting a very long game. They're just waiting for the right time. They barely used any of their capabilities in this war, and finding more funding and volunteers is as easy as it gets for them. Meanwhile israel is extremely frustrated with another pointless stalemate, inevitably waiting for the worse to come. I'm saying this as an israeli.

34:25 one of my favourite Perun pieces of dry humour so far

The potential crisis in Guyana was hilarious from my PoV. As far as I understand it, there is only one road connecting Venezuela to Guyana, and that road passes through Brazil. Now, I find Brazilian President Lula to be a little too friendly with China and Russia, however he did publicly declare that the Brazilian military would prevent any Venezuelan incursions into Brazil. If you look at literally any statistics comparing Brazil to Venezuela (in terms of defense, economics, or defense-economics)… Well, the one-sided Venezuelan invasion of Guyana would never happen, because first we would first see a failed Venezuelan attempt to invade Brazil. Venezuela under Maduro is starting to remind me of "The Mouse That Roared," haha.

Still no evidence any Koreans are on frontlines. Even latest desperate Ukrainian PR stunt included two Tuvans who silently talked on the phone. Ukraine still haven't published a single word actually said by those POWs in Korean or any other language.
-
What a typical Western thing to do. Blockade Cuba, go after European cruise ships stopping in Havana and then blame this all on Cuba.
-
Oh yeah, let's trust Soros NGOs claims on election results anywhere.
-
You are fundamentally misrepresenting Iranian attack calculations against Israel. It was Israel which stroke first and forced Iranian retaliation as an escalation bait to drag Iran in current state into war against the US under Biden administration. Iran is not ready for large war and tried to do a PR strike, just not to lose face. Iran is working on the only deterrent which works – large amount of nukes. This, them not being dragged into large war and continuing building nukes might be a strategic victory, especially if Ukrainian war ends and Russia starts messing around the world in proxy wars.

If/when you do an Africa episode I really want to encourage you to sink a significant portion (maybe make it its own episode) into the Horn of Africa region. There is a lot going on there in the past decade and frankly I think its going to have outsize influence on the events of the next decade.
-
Parts if the middle east now understand that Israel is a peaceful country, until it isnt. Very, very prickly.
-
Perun Africa series in 2025 let's go!
-
To be fair the Venezuelans do have cause to be worried, their navy is after all 0-1 against unarmed cruise ships.
-
In all fairness, it was always obvious that, should Maduro invade Guyana, he would wake up breakfasting with the USMC. With Trump now coming into office, his primary goal for 2025 should probably be to not end up breakfasting with the USMC anyway. 'Cause he's one Donald temper tantrum away from sharing a cell with Noriega, at this point.

That's an absolute banger mental picture to start off with, I had to pause to stop laughing XD

"Denamark gets an" That's a nice typo, or have we been renamed to the Denanish?

Turkey for the win. Syria for the loss.

I thought this was an excellent way to wrap up the year. Thanks for your continuing efforts Perun.

Nice recovery. Of course we're defending democracy. I didn't see the last few. Forgot how much I love these. Thank you.

Welcome to 2025 everyone – Let's hope it's a good one.
And for our first video of 2025, I wanted to look at some of the conflicts and crisis we looked at from December 2023 to December 2024 to look at how they progressed and try and assess who got a strategic podium position vs who was in the fight for the wooden spoon. I decided to focus squarely on topics that wouldn't likely otherwise get a timely and complete follow up of their own – hence the decision to exclude the war in Ukraine, US-PRC competition or topics we haven't yet covered and probably deserve their own detailed look (e.g. Myanmar).
I hope you enjoy, and look forward to a return to more conventional topics starting next week
-
There's a good chance China used North Korea as proxy to fight the West in Ukraine. It's enough for China just to do nothing. It can even backfill Korean arsenal effectively laundering military support to Russia.
-
Lol. Baltics are walking dead. They will be occupied by Russia and NATO won't do shit
-
more coverage of Africa and Myanmar would be wonderful!
-
You'd hope that sometimes in 2019 or 2020 that Guyana paid some serious cash for serious oil industry consultants.. Norwegian oil industry consultants..
-
Well thanks for the best wishes.

54:55 flawless pronounciation of Bundeswehr, im impressed

Another presentation where Perun can't find a single fault with genocidal Israel and their conduct.

Temu commercials are absurd. Shopping like a billionaire that has the shittiest taste and doesn't give a crap about quality.
