I looked up the law in the Dominican Republic. You can record anywhere in public spaces, which includes you know outside areas where there is no expectation of privacy and not anywhere privacy is expected such as houses, businesses, etc. Basically, it's the same as anywhere else. Couldn't find anything that says you can't record in public spaces.

Hate to say it, because I supported it early on but I am glad they are cracking down. Getting out of hand. You Tube did not make Sosua famous đđ. I have been going since the 90's. It was just a spot that someone had to tell you about. As with anything, people mess everything up and don't know how to respect people's privacy.

I think it's fine to show places in sosua. When you include recording people in the video, it's a different deal. Some people would rather not be bothered. It's best to just ask permission first.

It is true about the camaraderie between the brothas, it is really really outstanding! I wish it was more prevalent like that in the states but of course there is so much to deal with here in the states all the time and just general extenuating circumstances that make it more difficult.
