I recently spend 17 fun filled years in Toronto, the capital of Ontario. Now I am living in the capital of Canada, Ottawa and I am enjoying the smaller city vibe. Not sure why you don’t like winter. Winter reminds me to be present in gratitude for beautiful days.

    Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦♥️

Oh god dont stay too long, Toronto is now a shithole

We loved how many times you mentioned no more Canadian winters 😂 We feel the same way, that’s definitely the goal.

Yea I hear the winter is brutal there; but the summer is very beautiful Been there once.

Woodbine Beach is just around the corner of Downtown Toronto.

Paddington's Pump, another shop in St. Lawrence Market, also sells peameal bacon sandwiches and offers toppings beyond what Carousel does. I think they have a simpler take-away sandwich and more complex sit-down option, as they have seating. Future video should you return to the city in the future?

Yes, you can skate there in winter.

The ‘Toronto’ sign in Nathan Phillips Square is updated every few years, currently displaying artwork by Toronto artist Joseph Sagaj. I’m glad to see you enjoyed your quick visit close to my neck of the woods (just north/west of Toronto) and I’m very curious to find out the exciting news in upcoming videos 😊!

In the USA, we call peameal either Canadian bacon or ham.

I’ve been in Toronto since 1958 and really appreciate how divers it has become: the people, the food, the culture. We have our issues but we are full of life. Loved your video. You really got us!

Toronto is best experienced by viewing it in your rear view mirror while driving away!

I spent some of my childhood in Toronto (mostly in the suburb of Pickering). My family moved to LA when I was 8 years old and I haven't been back. Now as an adult, it is on my bucket list to go back and revisit these places that I spent years 3-8 at. To no surprise, so much has changed! Thanks for this video!

Yes, the best part of Toronto is leaving and heading east to Montreal! 🤣

Hi❤️ when you come back to DR👒🇩🇴 your second Home 🙌🏼🙌🏼🏖️❤️

I know my reasoning is odd but your comment about the food in Toronto is so far the ONLY reason I cannot see myself living elsewhere. In my travels I am always open to moving, living, retiring etc but when it comes down to the food variety and options and access, I have a hard time accepting other places. So for the forseeable future, Toronto will remain my home.

And YES you can skate at Nathan during winter. Cheap skate rentals and some cocoa and the lights are lovely.

Toronto ? Many interesting things, but nothing special and unique. It lacks an identity for a big city of this size

Gooderham is pronounced Good-er-um. It's good not god. The distillery was once the largest in the British Empire.

    Canada 🇨🇦 so beautiful

Yes you can skate on the pond at Nathan Philips square. It cost only $15 to rent skates but the wait in line was around an hour for me personally. If you rent skate they take your ID so you absolutely have to return the skates lol

There are other beaches along the waterfront that are very popular. Where we live just west of Toronto, the patios are open until sometime in Nov. Many have heaters etc. We don't shut down at the first sign of cold weather.

Peameal bacon sandwiches are the official food of Toronto, but outside of St. Lawrence Market, you only see them on diner & some older restaurant menus. The unofficial food of Toronto is the Jamaican patty of course – you can find it in every subway station, convenience store, etc. And one more that's less known is sushi pizza! It was invented at Nami restaurant in Toronto & you can find it at any sushi place in the city.

Lived in Toronto from 1998-2015. Live about an hour way now. Covered a few of my favourite areas in this video. I still try to visit when I get a chance for an event or a staycation day trip.
