Geographic Travel Journalist Damon Redfern was born in the UK, and by the time he was 15, he’d already traveled around the world several times. After he finished school he joined the Voluntary Service Overseas, the British equivalent of the Peace Corps, and was assigned to be a teacher in Uganda. His experiences in the service only solidified his love for exploring unique destinations.
