Sailing with six

Had the unfortunate issues with T bone cables. That T connector you show as the culprit for your problem actually needs an end stop on the open part. This avoids moist /salt and dirt to come in. Same for all open positions on the connector strips. If you leave those out it leads to problems after a while. Love your videos.

We have a Heritage festival in Edmonton and its the only time I see Vegemite and I try it every year and it being an acquired taste its taken me a decade(maybe two) to actually begin to like it .👍
Love the music you chose for your panorama vids .cheers

26.28 minutes goes way to fast when one is having fun and don't want it to end.

Love that the entire family is involved (and interested) in the running of the boat.

Obvious question. Why are your cables not tagged/marked?

Wow, a scary thing to happen out in the Pacific Ocean… but then a spectacular fix, indeed! One little piece of plastic and everything's working again. Kudos to your well-prepared friends. Some incredible fishing there— good catch!! Dodging a plane, we arrive at the capital. Someone here ought to have a rivet gun.

Thank you for another great (informative) video. We look forward to it every week. By the way, I believe Joshua Slocum had the same issue with his autopilot 😁

13:41 you need plug in your backbone terminators at the end of your nmea2000 network. It might work if you neglect them, but most likely not. These terminators loks like a dust cap but are importent for nmea network to work properly!

Funny thing with the wires. You guys are real optimists. The first thing I thought, they picked up a stowaway rat during the extended stay in Panama and it chewed through the wires. You can't stand on the table forever, Kris, get down and help looking for the damn thing. 😛

8:38 I would saw the mast down with a noise like that. Good patience, Shona.

10:25 WHY are the rivets missing!? You didn't do much hard sailing. It must all be Pip jumping off the boom!!!

12:28 AND YOU DIDN'T SURF THAT!?!?! Shame on you! 😞

Hey, you just had the most unexpected shout-out… I think it's called when one channel mentions another. I was watching the Meraki family – Jacko, Celine, and their sons Jerry and Lamborghini… yes, it's because of jokes like that they hate me so much. 😞You seem to know or at least met them, too! AND you gave them your outboard! The reason I mention this… since you're giving away things you don't need anymore, DIBBS ON FINN! Need a new cook. Mine was eaten by whatever he tried to roast.

13:21 And this, children, is what a 25,000-dollar bucket looks like. 🙂

14:24 SON OF A…!!!!!!!!!!!! This is Amel Super Maramu. I saw this boat last year. I was hoping they removed it. But NO! It crashed there and the owner just buzzed off back to whatever country they limped from and left 20 tons of plastic garbage on this beautiful island. This makes me SO angry. The pacific islands (or maybe you, stupid President Macaron!!!) should make recovery insurance mandatory. These crashed and sunk boats have become a real problem. They already trashed the Caribbean harbors and now they are doing the same with the Pacific. I'm gonna SCREAM!!!

14:34 You are SO contrarian, Shona. It's actually 54. 🙂

Another very groovy and enjoyable episode. Lots of extra problems one has to worry about with electronics on these fancy new sailing ship. Back in the 1970's when I was a first mate on a 70 foot schooner, all we had to help us along was a compass, the stars and our sexton. Much easier to control, but very low on proactive safety. LOL!
