Just from the very first minutes of this i feel like he never really understood how much of a legend he really is. Or maybe he didn't want to, which would be admirable. But his music has influenced my music and countless others to a degree barely anyone can imagine. He is basically the father of hybrid orchestral music, mixing synths with classical elements.

Y quién dijo que se necesita conocer las notas musicales para componer música? Los Egipcios, Asirios, Judíos, Árabes, Babilonios, Persas, Griegos, Romanos, cantaban y tocaban instrumentos musicales, con el DO RE MI FA SOL? Oh no!! Simplemente lo hacían porque, como se dice aquí en México: Traemos la Música por dentro😂 Es Vangelis el mejor compositor del siglo XX? Puede ser, pero en lo particular, me gusta más la música de Morricone, compuesta para películas del Viejo Oeste, y punto y aparte: Cinema Paradiso🤠🐎🐂🐂🐎😻

aprendi a gostar de new age e instrumentais, graças a esse tecladista, e outros, mas o vangelis tem seus albuns sempre a melodia certa, seja pra filme ou pra disco, da para se fazer as rapidas das lentas num mp3, e usar quando se precisa de concentração, mas pra dar entrevista, ele se confunde bastante quando se define como compositor, alguem de outro plano deu essas melodias pra ele que é alto didata, seja como for, seu estilo é unico, é uma religião, não sei como as igrejas catolicas não tocam suas musicas lentas numa igreja, isso ajudaria na concentração, aquelas musicas horrivel de coro e canto não tem nada de alma, com certeza merece ser o melhor do século, o pessoal lá de cima deveria ter deixado ele compor um album divino na sua despedida da terra, uma pena

Who comes up with these idiotic titles of "the best" of anything? Okay, he composed the Chariots of Fire theme and some other soundtracks to well-known music which placed them on Billboard. Even if he were best-selling composer, would this make him the best? I guess Rachmaninoff and Shostakovich, along with literally thousands of other fabulous 20th century composers are chumps inferior to Vangelis. I know the title is meant to provoke, but it's a bit infantile for a serious biographical documentary.
