You are not rambling….you are giving jewels! Thank you for no longer putting an age along with your goal..BIG MISTAKE. Forty is just a number and should not be mixed up with your financial goals because once you reach 40 and you have not met your financial goal – it will depress you immensely. When I reached 40 – I was extremely depressed because I always said I wanted to retire at 40. Chile – at 40 I was back home with my parents! I got a birthday card from my sister that read on the cover – Happy to be 40? Then when you opened it – it said – Why? What Happened? I laughed so hard. What happened is I messed with the number. Leave age out of your goals and keep it moving.

My rule of thumb is that the World is too big to repeat locations. Yes, Greece is beautiful and the Islands are magnificent – but there is too much more for me to see rather than go back. I just got back from Iceland and Ireland and Iceland literally and spiritually took my breathe away.

I was in Morocco 2 years ago. I would skip Casablanca not too much to do. If you have to fly into there then fine, spend the day there. Go to Mohammed V Mosque. The following morning we got up and took the train to Fes. Sign up to spend the day in Chefchaouen (the Blue City). Go to the Leather Tannery in The Medina of Fes. Let me know if you need someone to show you around the Fes Medina.

Marrakesh- You can stay at Riad Jnane Mogidor, close to the front gate in Marrakesh. Be careful at night walking through the Medina all the alleyways tend to look the same. you could be subject to guys bothering you. While in Marrakesh visit Ait Ben Haddou or the Atlas Mountains.

If you want to go to Egypt let me know about that too. My ex-husband is Egyptian, yes you can have problems with some of the men. They tend to look for women they think have money.
I have been friends with an Egyptian family for over 25 years. They go to Egypt every year and host a trip for travelers to go with an escort she takes people on a Nile Cruise along with Sharm El Sheikh. This year her trip dates are March 10-March 25 2025.

Tenerife can be great, go check the rest of the island before you go to Morocco (Not far away). Morocco you dont need so long in Marrakesh 4 nights willl do, Rabat Casablanca 3 each Wherever you go in the dessert is up to you. They have a popular beach resort Agadir which is popular and the locals have been told to not hassle people shopping as much. Get a guide going going the big Market in Marrakesh or youll get lost lol.

You could go to Sharm el sheikh in Egypt at the moment, its safe there, just lovely beaches and snorkeling and chilling out xx Its different to the cities that may be off the list at the moment. Women seem safe there they go on their own (Ive been a travel agent all my life). You enjoy Tenerife first, theres a lot more to see Where you are is family school holidays land xxx (Its better when the kids go back to school and its quieter, the canaries are warm all round so its a good escape for the uk) The North is Greener because of the shadow of mount Teide, go and have a look x

I’ve been to Marrakesh and the people were friendly and welcoming to us(black folks). But expect to be called every black celebrity under the sun 😂. Enjoy Morocco try to visit Essaouira it’s beautiful and laid back.
