When it comes to the UK, outside of Greater London its foreign policy. Modern England Scotland Northern Ireland and Wales are colonies exploited for their resources and labour force and when they became no longer useful to the government they where left and neglected. Take London out of the UK and its one of the poorest counties in Europe with the highest rate of homelessness, child poverty and suicide.

Quite funny how Overseas Territory is shortened to OT and then the word Territory is used 20 times in the next two minutes, and then it’s followed up by naming each territory…. Is there really any point to shortening it to OT…. It would appear not. 😂😂😅❤

If someone with no knowledge about the Falklands islands history saw this video, they'd think Argentina one day decided to invade the islands out of nowhere and with no justification (whether legitimate or not)…. like babe, those islands had a history prior to 1841… and seems dishonest not to include,
Step one strong nation take territory from the weaker one, remove all inhabitants and resettle it with your own. Wait 100 years, say we should respect the right of self determination of the locals. Its kinda what Israel is doing in the west bank, just wait 50 years. China did that in Xinjiang, Turkey in northern Cyprus, etc.

We’re an island nation and we like collecting islands, we’re not allowed to collect countries anymore so islands are the next best thing. We haven’t grown out of the whole empire thing and I don’t think we ever will. Old habits die hard!

The Falklands War was NOT between Argentina and England. It was between Argentina and the United Kingdom. Please make a correction. A lot of Scots, Welsh, and Irish also died in that conflict.

Umm… you might want to check a map again. The British Soveriegn Bases Territory are on the southern and eastern coasts of Cyprus — NOT on the "northeast coast" as you state at 13:07. That would put them in the Turkish part of the island.

The Falklands is NOT controversial. The United Kingdom is the first and only country ever to settle the islands in all of human history and Argentina has never had any claim to the islands, they tried to seize the islands because they thought they should control it based purely on its geographical location.

Simple answer. The UK Overseas Territories aren't really part of the UK. Brits cannot just immigrate to the UK Overseas Territories without conversing with the immigration departments in the overseas territory, which is similar to how Overseas Territories citizens cannot just pack up and goto live in the UK unless they have "Right of Abode" status.
