You did a great job on this Mike- some significant differences thanks for another awesome video 🇨🇺🩷✅

Good comparison Mike. I definitely prefer the adults only resorts. It really doesn't matter where in Cuba I go lol… it's Cuba! Thanks for sharing!

Another amazing video! Spoken like a homie from around the way and not some privileged entitled tourist. The time you took to edit this must have been extensive. Very much appreciated. I’ve been to both. Varadero I find too commercial and very much over populated by visitors but that long beach is perfect for daily walks. And cause it’s less separated from the mainland I have always found less supply issues when it comes to food and pop. Cayo Coco’s beach is so much nicer and the beach is floury soft. But food selection and supply often an issue. Cayo Santa Maria is my fav though and hope you add this part to your next mega comparison. Playa Cayo Santa Maria Resort is my fav of all the Cuban resorts minus the exclusive adult only isolated section of Ibeostar Ensenachos that you walked through. Those accommodations were fabulous. Getting that whole villa with kitchen and hot tub was wow! Even had a private meal cooked by a chef in our villa one night. But getting back to Santa Maria I hope you review Royalton one day. One resort I still need to visit but always so pricey compared to all others.
Have a great day from VanCity!

Another great video, thanks for sharing.

Love the video Mike! Thanks. We've been to both places as well.
Just one note, Newfoundland is not a part of the Maritimes. They only include 3 provinces.
Please keep up the fantastic work
-
Great video as always, really helpful information. Wife wants to do Cayo Coco now.
-
Great Video Mike,
Way to explain both destinations, lovin’ the Cuban videos. Keep them coming .
Cheers 🍺

Great info Mikey! Thanks man! 😎

Thanks for this video Mike… Well done. 👍🏽

Cayo Coco , adults only , the best! If you are 50+ ,you will not be disappointed! Thank you " Finding fish" for all you tips ! We will be in Cayo Coco Caribe in a week , its our second time and we loved this little paradise, thanks to you! ❤

Great video Mike. As soon as i saw your notification about this video I told my wife let's grab a coffee and look at video. We love Cuba also and most likely will book a Cayo Coco trip next Jan -Feb timeframe. How about Meliá Cayo Coco? Have you visited there before? We have and i was just wondering how everything is currently there. Great video again. Cheers Peter

Great Infos Mike.. I love it.. ✌️🤗

We maybe going to Cayo Coco Holguin next year.Thank you for all the information about Cayo Coco
-
Another great video Mikey, thanks for sharing

Great video Mike! I’m happy you touched on the topic of the difference between men vs women solo travelling. There’s definitely some risk factors and experiences with locals. I also agree it depends on the individual and what type of experience they’re seeking while away.
-
Well said. You’re the only guy on YT who goes into this kind of detail and depth on this topic 🙏
-
Great information
-
Great video!!
-
Thanks for the great video Mike!! That's an interesting comparison. There are quite a few differences but I think I like the not so busy Cayo Coco. Take care and safe travels.
-
Brisas Guardalavaca one of our favorites
-
I love watching your videos. It's been a huge help in planning my honeymmon to Cuba. Can you please check out Sanctuary at Grand Memories Holguín.
-
I've only been to Cayo Coco and have wondered if i should do a Varadero or other city area. Great video idea!

Heading to Grand Aston (Club) soon, for my 21st visit to Cuba. I agree with you; all that I care about are the beach, a clean room, and a comfy bed. I’ve been all over Cuba, and elsewhere, but Cayo Coco is my fav because I can enjoy some solitude if I want to. My favourite resorts are Memories Caribe, Sol Cayo Coco (2 beaches) and Sol Cayo Santa Maria. I detest anything fancy, I’m 63, was widowed 7 years ago, but I feel very safe when I come to Cuba on my own. Anybody who has complaints about Cuba, just doesn’t “get it” and are not my kind of people.

We love Cuba..Cayo Coco is beautiful-Great video idea!Mikey -Thank you 💞💯💯💫👋

Learning more every watch 👍

I'm going to the Grand Aston next week! Really looking forward to it. Was in Cayo Guiilermo for Christmas and it was very nice. Great video!
-
Thanks for the info Mike! Still considering which option would be best for a young couple who's main focus would be outdoor adventures (hiking, caves, snorkeling, mountains, renting scooters, bikes & cars for road trips etc). Not interested in the party scene but also not needing to sit at the beach all day. Cheers ✌️

Great video Mike cheers. GRIMSBY DAVE

We preferred cayo co co, or Santa Maria, just because less of a party atmosphere, we are in our early sixties, but all of Cuba is amazing inn, later this year we are taking first times with us, so we have them watching your videos, so they know not just from us but from a top notch reviewer with great videos to help them see what to expect. You have been a great help, thank you

How about mosquitos in October?
-
The Russians are cool. Think of it more like a Russian TV series called, Keeping Up With The Gorbachev's. They just drink vodka, never tip, eat hamburgers by the beach, drink more vodka, eat more hamburgers by the beach, drink more vodka so on and so forth. LOL. The one experience that stands out with the Ruskies, was in Santa Lucia. On the fourth day? a plane load of them just checked in. Within hours, the music went from the usual bamamamam kind of stuff, to Russian techno pop. Honestly Mike, I have never talked so much about Wayne Gretzky, or the Russian Summit Series, while seeing the resorts cache of vodka quickly disappear on the horizon? man can those dudes drink and party

Hi Mike, what resorts do you recommend for a family of 4 with 2 boys age 13 and 11? We have never been to Cuba. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, probably traveling next April, thanks.
-
Very informative and to the point. Love your channel.
-
Se ve completamente vacío, no hay tráfico porque la Isla no tiene combustible, ya no hay mucha gente que quiera ir porque la comida es pésima, nada comparado con Punta Cana y Mexico!
-
Great video. I've been to Varadero, but not Cayo Coco. I've never had a problem in Varadero, but I understand Cayo Coco has lots of mosquitoes and " no se- eems " ?
-
Great info Mike I'm going to cuba next month possibly varadero hopefully it will be good well thanks for the video ❤
-
Great Vid … FYI, 5:18 "Jardines" is pronounced "har-di-nes", its Spanish for "garden".
-
Great info ! Thanks Mike 😊
-
Thanks Mike! This is exactly the video I was looking for! My husband and I stayed in Varadero lin February and it was a great place to be but you are right, it is very busy. We are focusing on Cayo Coco for next year's vacation. We like the quiet and the beaches. Could you possibly recommend a few of your favourite resorts in Cayo Coco please? Nothing too big, adults only and after dinner entertainment. We don't like the large apartment building type resorts. We have done a lot of research but it would be nice to hear it from you because of your vast experience and you look for the same things in a resort as my husband and I do. Thank you so much Mike!
-
Hi we are loving your videos we are regular viewers, we really appreciate your honest reviews. We are wondering if your ever going to go Holguin area to visit the Playa Pesquero resort it came highly recommend to us. Thanks
-
Hi Mike…another informative video. In my opinion Caribe can't be beat for adults only but I'm a senior with similar views. Thanks for the great comparison, and I look forward to your next video.
Cheers

Amazing like always sir. Thank you

Hey Mike, great video! Do you have any thoughts on solo supplement fees? I know not all resorts charge them but given that you’ve been to so many resorts I was wondering if you know of any ways to circumvent them or if you just factor them in?
